Mix:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. baking soda
Bring to a boil:
1 c. margarine
4 T. cocoa
1 c. water
Pour over dry ingredients.
Add:
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk*
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Beat well and pour out on a greased jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides(10 1/2 x 15 1/2)
Bake at 350ºF. for 20 min.
Icing:
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly
1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
4 T. cocoa
Let cool and then add 6 T. buttermilk*
Pour mixture over one box of powdered sugar. Beat well.
Add:
3/4 c. nuts
1 t. vanilla
Pour icing over cake while still warm.
