Swedish Pudding

3 c. stewed apples
3 T. butter
3 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. allspice
1 c. thick cream
2 T. powdered sugar

Put apples through a sieve add sugar and spices.  Fry crumbs in butter.  Spread plate first with layer of crumbs then apples and so on.  Whip cream and add 2 T. powdered sugar.  Spread on top the pudding.  Serve cold.
