Teriyaki Chicken

I had a roommate in college who was half Japanese. This recipe she gave is straight from her 100% Japanese grandmother!

3/4 cup Sugar
2/3 cup Soy Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Combine and stir until sugar is mostly dissolved. Marinate meat and cook.
