1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. oats
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 T. salt
2 T. margarine
2 c. boiling water
5-6 c. flour
Dissolve yeast in warm water. In a large bowl combine oats, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt and margarine. Pour boiling water over all. Allow it to sit until it is lukewarm. Stir in 1 c. flour and yeast. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn out and knead in remaining flour until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down and make into two loaves. Put in greased and floured pans. Let rise again. Bake at 350ºF for 30-40 minutes.
